Legacy

Worked as a conservative monarch who implemented limited reforms, invested heavily in education and research, and promoted interfaith dialogue; however his reign was criticised over human rights and women's rights. He left a complex legacy in royal succession and remained an influential Middle Eastern figure internationally.
