Legacy
Charles (and Phyllis) Duguid substantially advanced Aboriginal rights in South Australia through support for Ernabella Mission, leadership of the AALSA and involvement in national bodies. Their efforts influenced politicians and public policy; their legacy continues via memorial lectures, scholarships and endowments (Duguid Indigenous Endowment Fund, Duguid Travelling Scholarship).
