Legacy
Kleukens is considered one of the most prolific printers of the German book art movement, producing numerous publications for presses such as the Ernst-Ludwig-Presse and the Mainzer Presse and earning international recognition. - A street in Darmstadt-Eberstadt was named after him in 1963; following research into his active role in National Socialism, the street was renamed in May 2023.
