Trivia

  • His father, also a journalist close to anarchism, went into exile in 1939.
  • Family was unstructured; he was practically a vagrant child and attended orphan institutions where he learned typing and shorthand.
  • During the Spanish Civil War, remained in Republican Madrid and worked with the Falange until Nationalists entered.
