A prominent Spanish poet and founder of the Córdoba-based Cántico group. Awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for Literature in 1984 and received widespread critical acclaim.
豆知識
- In 1947, he formed the literary/artistic group Cántico with friends including Ricardo Molina, Juan Bernier, Julio Aumente, and Mario López. Painters Miguel del Moral and Ginés Liébana were also part of the group.
- Received 'Favoured Son' status from his hometown of Córdoba and the region of Andalusia.
