Legacy
Sven Delblanc is regarded as one of the major Swedish writers of the 20th century. He was praised for layered narratives dealing with family history, religion and history. He won the Nordic Council Literature Prize for Samuels bok and received numerous other awards; several works were adapted for television and theatre.
