Description
ACT Book of the Year is an annual literary award for fiction, non-fiction, and poetry works by writers from the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Established in 1993, the initial prize was US$5,000 (notation as per the time), and currently AUD 10,000 is awarded. Organized by ACT Government (artsACT), recipients receive official recognition and media announcements. The list of winners has been recorded annually from 1993 (some years have co-winners).
