Description

Established in Venezuela in 2004. Awards unpublished novels written in Spanish by Venezuelan nationals (including those living abroad) or foreign nationals residing in Venezuela. Founded by three organizations: PEN de Venezuela, Grupo de Empresas Econoinvest, and Grupo Editorial Norma. Entry requirements include the work being unpublished, not having won other literary awards, not submitted to other competitions, etc. The prize is named after the writer Adriano González León.
