Description
The Esther Glen Award (Esther Glen Award, LIANZA Esther Glen Junior Fiction Award) was established in 1945 and is a prestigious literary award bestowed almost annually by the Library and Information Association of New Zealand Aotearoa (LIANZA) to the writer who has made the most outstanding contribution to New Zealand children's junior fiction. Established in memory of Alice Esther Glen, it is regarded as one of the longest-running children's literature awards in New Zealand.
