Description

The Flannery O'Connor Award for Short Fiction, established in 1983, is an annual short story collection award sponsored by University of Georgia Press. It selects English-language short story collections (short stories or novellas) by North American writers through blind judging, with the winning work published by University of Georgia Press. Initially there were multiple winners per year, but since 2016 it has been limited to one winner.
