The Gerald Lampert Memorial Award is an annual literary award established in 1981 by the League of Canadian Poets, awarded to poets who publish their first poetry collection (first book). Winners receive an encouragement grant and public recognition, with shortlists announced in many years. Past winners and nominees are widely referenced in the Canadian poetry scene.
