Description
The Halldis Moren Vesaas Prize was established by the publisher Olaf Norli Bokhandel following the death of Halldis Moren Vesaas (1995). It is a Norwegian literary prize awarded annually to Norwegians who have established important voices in the Norwegian poetry scene through the quality and magnitude (volume) of their lyric poetry or other poetry. The judging panel consists of Norli's manager, a literary director from another publisher, and the current head of the Norwegian Writers' Center. Officially started in 1995, but no awards recorded after 2007.
