The Hammett Prize is an award given annually by the International Association of Crime Writers (North American Branch, IACW/NA) to authors who are citizens or permanent residents of Canada or the United States for books of crime writing written in English. It was established in 1991 and named after the writer Dashiell Hammett. A list of winners and finalists is recorded from 1991 to the present (2023).
