Description
Award established by Storylines Children's Literature Foundation of New Zealand, targeting picture book manuscripts (maximum 1000 words) for ages 0–7 or 7–13. Awarded once a year if conditions are met, includes NZ$1500 prize money and a publication offer from Scholastic New Zealand. Open only to New Zealand residents. Deadline is October 31 every year, winners announced every March (winning works are often published the following year).
