Description
Norma Fleck Award for Canadian Children's Non-Fiction was established in May 1999 by the Fleck Family Foundation and the Canadian Children's Book Centre, and awarded to outstanding non-fiction books for young people. CDN$10,000 is awarded to each year's winner, and this award was operated as one of several awards hosted by the Canadian Children's Book Centre. According to Wikipedia records, winners were selected annually from 1999 to 2023, and the award was discontinued after 2023, with the Sharon Fitzhenry Award for Children's Nonfiction scheduled to be newly presented starting in 2025.
