The Percy Janes First Novel Award is a Canadian literary award presented through the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador's Arts and Letters Competition for first full-length novels (unpublished manuscripts) by authors from Newfoundland and Labrador. It is named after the late writer Percy Janes. The prize money was originally CAD 1,500 and increased to CAD 2,500 in 2014. Winners are announced as part of the Arts and Letters Awards through the provincial government and local media. The list of winners has been published continuously since 2000 (2000–2024 list available).
