Description

The Atwood Gibson Writers' Trust Fiction Prize (formerly Rogers Writers' Trust Fiction Prize) is an annual award given to the best Canadian novel or short story collection of the year. Renamed in 2021 to honor Margaret Atwood and Graeme Gibson. The winner receives CA$60,000, and each finalist receives CA$5,000. Judging is typically conducted by three independent judges (writers), and the winner is announced at the annual Writers' Trust Awards. Past winners include Alice Munro (2004), Lawrence Hill (2007), David Chariandy (2017), and others.
