Description
The Rossica Young Translators Prize is an annual translation prize established by Academia Rossica in 2009, awarded for translations from Russian to English of excerpts (about 3,000 words each) of contemporary Russian literature. Cash prizes are given to winners, and announcements are made in London during the London Book Fair. Entrants select and translate one of three excerpts provided from untranslated works. Academia Rossica also runs the biennial Rossica Translation Prize for translations of published books.
