Description

The Sahitya Akademi Translation Prizes have been awarded annually since 1989 for outstanding translations in 24 languages (including Meitei/Manipuri). This page lists the winners in the Meitei language category. Sources are official Sahitya Akademi documents and annual press releases; as of 2019, the prize money is ₹50,000. Winners are officially announced after review by the Academy.
