Description
Annual literary award established in February 2004 by the Vick Foundation, targeting the best Bulgarian novel (long-form). A standing committee selects the jury, and the annual jury selects a shortlist of 6 works, from which the winner is determined. Additionally, an award for the 'most popular book' is selected by public vote from the shortlist candidates. The award ceremony receives media coverage in Bulgaria and attracts significant attention as an event.
