Love Medicine
A linked novel set on an imaginary reservation, where the memories of several families and generations intersect. It layers love and loss, oral tradition and modern conflict.
Work Information
Family voices overlap until the memory of the land comes into focus.
Louise Erdrich's debut novel is a polyphonic portrait of the complicated relationships within an Ojibwe community. It also serves as the starting point for her later interconnected fiction.

Native Indian family saga.
Love all her books, great stories and family connections.

Another Erdrich treat
Another great novel. I'll bet they would be better if I read them in order but since I am not they are still teffific stories. All of the characters have their own unique parts and yet they are interwound with each other.

Please Title Your Chapters
If you are reading this for a Lit Class do yourself a favor and give titles to the chapters so later you can come back and find what you are looking for. This book has so much in it and it doesn't follow a strict chronological order because much of it is reminiscing by the characters. Very interesting story about acceptance of change. Some people do well-others not so much. Satisfying ending.

great book
Good book, interesting and leaves you guessing and discussing more and more. Great literature to read for fun or to use in an adult class
