These were followed by Frog and Toad All Year and Days with Frog and Toad .

楽しい本です。
楽しい本です、 ”① Frog and Toad Are Friends” のカエル達の人格が小学低学年なら、 ”② Frog and Toad Together” ではカエル達が小学高学年になった感じです。

英語版と日本語版の両方用意するのもオススメ
幼児と小1の子にせがまれて、読み聞かせしています。 リズムのよい文も、内容も◎です。 2人(2匹)のお互いを思いやる気持ちがしみじみと伝わってきて、読んだあとはいつも幸せな気持ちになります。 発音に自信がないので、youtubeを使うときもあります。

大好きです
インターナショナル幼稚園に通っている５歳の息子に購入しました。というのも、幼稚園で先生に読んでもらっていたからです。アーノルド・ローベルのこのシリーズは、和訳されたものが日本の小学校の教科書にも載っています（光村図書 小学２年生 お手紙）。原書は簡単な英語です。しかしながら、絵本と物語の間くらいの本（文章に対して、絵の割合が少ない）なので、５歳くらいだと、少し飽きちゃったり、お話のいい部分（ママは感動しちゃうセリフなんかを）をイマイチ共感してもらえなくって、ママだけが涙出そうになって読んでいたりします。がま君とカエル君のほんわか心温まる５つの短編が収まっています。どれもユーモアに溢れた、たわいのないお話で、幼い頃に経験する「おさななじみとの忘れてしまった思い出」を辿るような、そんな感想を持ちました。子供たちは、熱狂的に大好き！という反応はありませんでしたが、それでも、５歳の息子は２年生のお兄ちゃんの国語の教科書に載っているお話を見て「あっ、この本 知ってる〜、幼稚園の先生と読んだことある」って、言うくらいの印象は残っていました。大人になって、ママと一緒に読んだことを思い出してくれたら嬉しいなと思いました。

英語の勉強初級編・笑って楽しむ
英語は勉強にならないくらい簡単だった。でも、感覚を取り戻すのにはよかった。それより、ストーリーがほのぼの楽しくおかしく笑えて泣けて大好きだ！ 文化出版局より「ふたりはいっしょ」で日本語版あり。ＴＯＡＤ（がまくん）大好き！

いくつになっても大切にしたい本
読み終えたと同時に、私の大切な本のひとつになりました。 ストーリーの温かさ・面白さ・優しい挿絵に引き込まれ、素直に楽しめました。年齢に関係なくお薦めしたい本です。

読みやすくて可愛くて、ホントにお勧めです。
「Frog and Toad Are Friends」に引き続き読みました。お互いを思いやる気持ちや2匹のやりとりが読んでいてとても楽しいです。さし絵も可愛いので、お子さまにも良いんじゃないかと思います。

「がまくんとかえるくん」のシリーズとして，日本語版も出ている本です． 今日もやることがいっぱいあるなあ．忘れないように書いておこう， ってな感じでToadはリストを作ります． - Wake Up - Eat Breakfast - Get Dressed - Go to Frog's House ・・・ - Go to Sleep 一つずつチェックしながら，行動するToadでしたが， やがてリスト通りに行動しないと気がすまなくなってきて．．． ほのぼのとしたお話が５話収録されています．
