Reviews

  • Five Stars

Stocking our media center with award books we don't have.

  • Could become a family favorite for you too.

A gift for my daughter, who is the queen of our hearts. A classic.

  • Nearly just like First Grade

I remember this book fondly from the library of my first grade classroom. This is exactly the same except I recall the school copy as having more coloured pictures...? In any case, brings back fond memories and my children love it.

  • Damaged

    Arrived in poor condition. Returned

  • Love the illustrations

I have been collecting the award winning books back to their conception and have enjoyed looking at the way illustrations have changed over time. I was disappointed in the story line and surprised that a book about foreign gods would have been accepted at that time. I will more than likely not share this book with the grand kids.
