  • I was delighted to find this book for my grandchildren. I used to read this to my daughters. It's unique, funny, and adds a cultural aspect - which is great.

  • My daughter loves this for bedtime stories! Such a cute book.

  • I loved this book as a child and look forward to reading it with my daughter. The illustrations are wonderful.

  • A simple book - used in English as stories from other cultures. We re-wrote this book whilst studying Japan!

  • So this lady who likes dumplings falls into a hole and is enslaved by the trolls to make them dumplings. Then she escapes stealing their magic spoon. Morally ambiguous, but fun.
