This book is one of the jewel's of my childhood, along with Madeline, and now I'm sharing it with my grandchildren after enjoying reading it with my daughters when they were little. It doesn't age.

Did you know she was famous in Brazil?
The character was very popular here in Brazil. with its animated series and its dvds that sold a lot in the early 2000s. the film with the actors was also shown on television. its popularity has dropped in the world. but it is still well watched in Portuguese on YouTube and other video platforms. but it is strange that there is not and does not seem to have been any version of the book in Portuguese. which is actually interesting because the books are old. I bought it exactly for the quality and impact it had on my childhood. And I say that I am very satisfied with the work.

How Madeleine was rescued
Loved this story myself as a child and equally loved by my own daughters and now my grandchildren. How Genevieve the dog came into Madeline’s life and became one of the family with some extra editions towards the end of the story. .
