AI received the paper back copy of this book years ago, Loaned it and now don't have it any more. This copy is an excellent replacement! For any one who is not aware of the exceptional American Indian artists and art, this should be in their library of art. Not all artists are classical masters--we have them here in the US. Highwater made a supreme collection of information and art available to more of those who really want to know more about art, who ever is doing it and from where ever it originates

i have become a beginner at collecting this style of art work and what better way of learning what and who to look for than this book. it has given me insight and adirection as to what prints are out there and what i want and has me looking for other books of this nature for my small collection
