Connected Folktales Tell a History
This book is a series of folktales about a specific area in the British Isles. The stories give a more or less consecutive history of Wonder Smith. It was a joy to read and an interesting vista into folklore.

Celtic tales told in Gaelic in old Ireland and Scotland with magical and supernatural people and creatures.
Mananaun, become Wonder Smith or the Gubbaun Saor, when he picks up a bag of tools that fall from the sky, and instantly realizes that he knows how to use them to become a great smith. These fourteen tales come from Gaelic speaking Ireland and Scotland. They are magical and supernatural tales of Gubaun Saor, his son and daughter. Wonder Smith is the maker of worlds and great dunes in worlds that contains djinns, dwarfs, giants, demons, fairies, and the sea serpent the Great Piast. These stories are spread over the time when Mananaun is a young man who finds the magic tools and progresses as he becomes Wonder Smith with interesting tales of great deeds interwoven with his magical family. These tales were passed down by word of mouth across the ages and were recorded by Ella Young in 1927. An interesting read back to the oral history of the early beliefs from the great mountains and sea surrounding Ireland and Scotland.
