Work Information
Each month opens into a calendar of memory and observation.
Using each month as a starting point, the collection links seasonal and cultural associations with the author’s own experience. It works like a calendar, yet each section leaves a distinct emotional aftertaste.
Review Summaries
-
Readers respond well to the month-by-month structure and to the way personal observation sits alongside the poems’ playfulness.
