Legacy of Molly Southbourne
The final chapter in the Molly Southbourne story brings together horror and family emotion with equal force. It is a grim but resonant novella that closes the series with both brutality and aftertaste.

-
Readers who respond well to the series tend to praise the bleak premise and the emotional landing. Others note that the fractured structure and intensity of the violence make it a more divisive reading experience.

From Arthur C. Clarke Award-winner Tade Thompson, The Legacy of Molly Southbourne continues his chilling series. Whenever Molly Southbourne bled, a murderer was born. Deadly copies, drawn to destroy their creator, bound by a legacy of death. With the original Molly Southbourne gone, her remnants drew together, seeking safety and a chance for peace. The last Molly and her sisters built a home together, and thought they could escape the murder that marked their past. But secrets squirm in Molly Southbourne's blood—secrets born in a Soviet lab and carried back across the Iron Curtain to infiltrate the West. What remains of the Cold War spy machine wants those secrets back, and to get them they're willing to unearth the dead and destroy the fragile peace surrounding the last copies of Molly Southbourne. The Legacy of Molly Southbourne brings the story to a bloody end.

Empfehlenswert.

Bummed to turn the last page
This was a great read with something very hard to find- an original premise with surprising plot twists. I liked it a lot. Medical spy horror international incident fiction? So apart from the setting and the era and the lamentably smaller number of pages and fewer details it actually wasn't so different from Wormwood. I was sorry to turn the last page of this last book in a trilogy. Plot lines were tied up in ways that felt complete and believable. I look forward to reading his next works.

Great Finish
4.5 Stars: I finished the final book, and I'm pleased with the way everything was brought together to get her into the final book. From chapter 14 onwards, I was glued to the pages and couldn't wait to see how it all turned out, so I enjoyed this book the most. It was a great way to tie all three books together.
