John Cameron Mitchell is an actor and director who has performed in the original Broadway production of Six Degrees of Separation , The Secret Garden (Drama Desk nomination), and The Destiny of Me (Obie Award, Drama Desk nomination). He recently appeared in HBO’s Girls as Hannah’s ebook editor. He wrote, directed, and starred in the film adaptation of Hedwig , which won prizes at the Berlin, Deauville, San Francisco, and Sundance film festivals. He also directed the film adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Rabbit Hole (Academy Award nomination for Best Actress). Stephen Trask was one of the original members of the notorious Squeeze Box House Band, performing with Debbie Harry, Hole, Green Day, and many others. For five years, he performed with his band Cheater, which originated the role of The Angry Inch off-Broadway as well as for the original cast recording and in the film. He has scored numerous films, including Dreamgirls, The Station Agent, The Little Fockers, The Back-up Plan, Lovelace: The Inside Story of Deep Throat , and Admission .

やっと届きました。嬉しい。 映画を観た方は、ＣＤを聴いて歌詞を覚えましたか？ 次はやっぱり、台詞を覚えたいですよね。このテキストは凄いです！ 絶対手に入れるべき。なぜならば、映画には出てこない台詞がいっぱい あるから。 例えばですね、Hedwigのイツハクとの出会いのエピソードなんかが わかってしまうんですね。ヘドヘッドの皆さんのために、あえて詳細は 省きます。舞台を観ている気分になれますよ。（写真もいっぱいあるし） とにかく、買うべし。

これはスクリプトのみで楽譜は出ていない
amazonが"Hedwig And The Angry Inch: Piano/Vocal Selections"と混同してしまっている。タイトルは似ているが、まったく別の本で、こっちは映画の全セリフと歌詞が文字で書かれているだけ。それはそれでおもしろいのだろうが、私がほしかったものじゃない。 どういうわけか、hedwigで検索しても、こっちしかひっかかってこなかった。楽譜の方がほしいのであれば、Hedwig And The Angry Inch: Piano/Vocal Selectionsとフルで入力する必要があるらしい。 追記：このレビュー、もともとは脚本のペーパーバックに対する方のものなのに、amazonでは、楽譜のHedwig And The Angry Inch: Piano/Vocal Selectionsの方にも出ている。やっぱり、amazonは、商品の分類に失敗している。楽譜の方は、映画版に沿ったもの。ステージの曲のいくつかは出ていないが、まあ、おもだったものは出ているので、楽しめる。

やはり、ヘドウィグファンにはこの本は絶対欲しいアイテムだと思います。 ピアノの弾き語りに使える楽譜です。 ヘドウィグの世界に浸りたく、DVDをみたり、CDを聞いたりしてすごしていましたが、ピアノで実際に曲を弾いてみたら、夢中になりました☆ 輸入物の楽譜なので、「NAILED」や「IN YOUR ARMS TONIGHT]といった曲が載っていないのが残念です（；－；） ですがギターコードが載っていることには満足しています。 バンドスコアもあればいいのですが・・・

I have moderate piano skills; thus much of the book is too advanced for me to play, but I've got the intros to Wicked Little Town and Wig in a Box down, and that alone made the purchase more than worth it. One of my favorite things about the score itself is how heavily piano is featured on many of the songs, and it's amazing to be able to play those melodies for myself. It's also a pleasure just to read the music and lyrics and delve a bit deeper into to the score that Stephen Trask created. Wonderful purchase for any Hedhead!
