Reviews

  • Well written, One of the most engaging book i ever read !

As i started reading Yayati a classic tale of lust, i felt like yayati, devayani and sharmishtha telling me their side of story. Author v s khandekar written in such a nice way and special thanks to Y.P.Kulkarni for translating it from marathi to english so people like me enjoy reading it. I'm more into books related to spirituality, religion, self help etc. But still i liked this amazing book more than i thought! If you like this review, please click 'Yes'

  • Good book

History of our ancestors should be known and it shouldn't be repeated. Also depicts importance of ones duty towards society, family and loved ones.

  • Great story

Beautiful narration of the story. It takes me to ancient time. Beautifully described about love, life, sacrifice, blind love, pleasure. Must read. Recommended to all.

  • Interesting

This was not the most exciting book, but it did keep my interest. It's a good character study and I enjoyed learning more about the early Yadus.

  • Nice classic tale of Kind Yayati.

The book is a classic tale of one of the mythological characters of very beginning Mahabharata King Yayati. However , if you are Marathi then it's better you prefer that language first.
