Work Information

In the midst of grief, learning to lose gradually becomes a way of learning to live.

Through conversations, memory, and fragments of daily life, the novel traces the void left by sudden death and the human relationships that help fill it. It is a family novel attentive to the fine grain of grief without giving up humor.

Reviews

Arrivato in ottime condizioni.

  • fantastico

  • I strongly recommend this novel, both for its accomplishment ( very well written book, original style, astonishing in the life-common-sensical way) and its flows (the beginning is a little blur and common). The novel deals with the strong parts and the weak parts of a human being, it's about our tendency to idealize the persons we lose, about the guilt we feel when someone dear to us gets ill and die. About the joy of forgiving ourselves.

  • This book made me cry, from the beginning to the end, and it was really good... Makes you think about your relationships. Really well written and easy to read
