His best known book, Paese d'Ombre, is a saga taking place at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, in Sardegna, his place of birth, which he is passionate about. Beautifully written.

Il libro è un romanzo d'amore. Il Protagonista ama la sua moglie, la figlia, il paese, i boschi circostanti e la natura in toto. Si divide in tre parti dove viene trattato un preciso periodo di vita del protagonista alle prese con omicidi, povertà e tristi avvenimenti personali. Questo libro mostra quali fossero le condizioni fisiche e sociali di un territorio che oggi più che mai vive in una crisi economica profonda, in seguito allo sfruttamento incontrollato del territorio.
