Just how i remembered it, thank you
We couldn't leave Dinah

I read this story when it was first published in the 40's. My sisters and I were all pony riders so it appealed then. One of my sisters reminded me about it so I researched and bought it. It is designed for teen age readers so uses fairly simple language. However I enjoyed reading the book again very much. There is a good plot, the characters are well drawn and there is mystery and danger to be overcome. It may not appeal to the more sophisticated teens of today but it is an excellent read and I am very pleased I got it. Will be sending it on to my sister.
