First book of a trilogy, adventures in the middle east before the Flood. Exciting but also funny. I came to them as an adult and still enjoy occasional reread.
This is a story worth reading and re-reading, accessibly written so it is enjoyable for children to read it is also interesting enough to be worth a re-read as an adult.
We enjoyed the new perspective on an old story. Kids always appreciate goodies and baddies...and animals.
Good.
