• Victoria is my favourite monarch and this book did not disappoint

This book is huge, historically accurate and just bursting with information. Victoria is my favourite monarch and this book did not disappoint, it's like Longford walks through her life and brings the reader with her. My favourite Queen Victoria biography I have ever read (I've read a few). Would recommend to any history enthusiast

• Her Royal Majesty. Queen Victoria

I haven't been able to read it in its entirety yet but, so far, it has lived up to what I heard about it!! It is the best book on the subject!!

• The Story of a Fascinating Life, Well Told

A well written and insightful book. Elizabeth Longford makes good use of the original sources, particularly Victoria's journal entries and paints a balanced and interesting picture of Victoria as a woman, wife, mother, and queen. The many illustrations are helpful and add interest to the story that she tells. The book itself was as advertised, in very good condition, with just some wear (as would be expected) on the cover and some separation just inside the front and back cover. It was delivered on the day promised, and my wife and I have enjoyed reading it since then.

• This book is better than any movie! Drags you in and keeps you in!

This is a big book! But too short for how amazing this read can be! Oh what a book! Oh what a writer! But oh....what a queen!!!

• Interesting to compare with PBS show

Enjoyed this book. Has a lot of detail.
