• This book was listed as further reading on the back cover of a similar one that I had purchased in America some years ago but I had never been able to acquire a copy before now. It was well worth buying and in fact my copy was an original first edition. The history and narure descriptions did not detract from the story and I could not put the book down until I finished it.

• Good book. Good quality binding with a glossy finish.

• Une histoire touchante et bien écrite. Le niveau d’anglais est relativement élevé car le vocabulaire n’est pas toujours usuel mais l'histoire se comprend bien.

• I read this in elementary school when I was about 8. It's still a great book 50 yrs later. I never forgot it, it made such an impression. I tried to find it over the years and had no success because I was thinking the book was called the badger, for some reason, and searches were coming up blank until I put a description of the book into Google and got a hit. It's a great story, well written.

• Interesting read
