Hogan's collection provides readers with a glimpse of some of her earlier writing and is worth purchasing. Her typical influences are at work; the constant balance between nature and human life poses many questions in equality, and Hogan pushes the boundaries time and time again.
Read it! and then read it again. It is not a big book and on your second read, you come away with a different take on her poetry.
