Tade Thompson is the author of the sci-fi novel Rosewater , which won the Arthur C. Clarke Award, the Nommo Award, and was a finalist for the John W. Campbell Award. He is the author of the Kitschies Golden Tentacle Award-winning novel, Making Wolf , and he also writes short stories, notably The Apologists which was nominated for a British Science Fiction Association award. Born in London to Yoruba parents, he lives and works on the south coast of England where he battles an addiction to books.

Sehr gelungener Abschluss - und interessante Hintergründe
Molly2, die nun aktuelle Molly nach dem Freitod des Templats, hat durch ihre Erfahrungen mit den Tamaras, deren Begegnungen nicht automatisch zu Kämpfen auf Leben und Tod führen, die Idee entwickelt, dies auch mit ihren 'Schwestern' auszutesten. Und so finden sich nach einiger Zeit vier Mollys mit nun neuen Einzelbezeichnungen in einem abgelegenen Haus und versuchen einen Weg zur Kooperation zu finden. Aber die Schöpfer der Mollys und Tamaras sind nicht bereit die Früchte ihrer Arbeit so einfach aufzugeben und so machen sie der Templat-Tamara eine geradezu unwiderstehlichen Vorschlag - den diese aber ziemlich kreativ auslegt. Daneben fühlen sich noch unregistrierte mollys von der Ansammlung der Mollys angezogen und es gibt noch eine weitere Person, die hinter den letzten mollys und Mollys her ist. Die Hintergrundsgeschichte Mollys und Tamaras wird noch einmal weiter ausgebaut und wir erfahren noch wesentlich mehr über Mollys Mutter. Das Motiv für das Projekt ist ein wenig angelehnt an 'Child of Men' und einige Aspekte erinnern sowohl an 'Dark Angel' oder an 'Orphan Black' und als Fan beider Serien muss mir diese Geschichte einfach gefallen. Ungewöhnliche - aber interessante - SF. Empfehlenswert.

Bummed to turn the last page
This was a great read with something very hard to find- an original premise with surprising plot twists. I liked it a lot. Medical spy horror international incident fiction? So apart from the setting and the era and the lamentably smaller number of pages and fewer details it actually wasn't so different from Wormwood. I was sorry to turn the last page of this last book in a trilogy. Plot lines were tied up in ways that felt complete and believable. I look forward to reading his next works.

Great Finish
4.5 Stars: I finished the final book, and I'm pleased with the way everything was brought together to get her into the final book. From chapter 14 onwards, I was glued to the pages and couldn't wait to see how it all turned out, so I enjoyed this book the most. It was a great way to tie all three books together.
