Women of he Beat Generation
I really enjoyed this book. Discovering so many new and vibrant women of the Beat period has made me order Diane Di Prima and others. I was very moved by poet Elise Cowan and her sweet and oh so sad sadness.Reading about Carolyn Cassady and Joan Haverty were all inspirational, and the language of Hettie Jones and Lenore Kandel to Ann Waldman have inspired me deeply
