Ecuadorian cardiologist and poet. Worked at Carlos Andrade Marín Hospital from 1967 to 2011, published over 30 scientific papers. Published three poetry collections with decades-long gaps, and selected poems in Ajuar de cal. Awarded Eugenio Espejo Prize in 2008 for scientific activity.
