Legacy
Ecuadorian poet and journalist associated with the Madrugada literary group. Received the Premio Eugenio Espejo, Ecuador's highest literary award, in 2018.
Trivia
- His father was a German communist activist in exile from Nazi Germany, Jan Andries Jolles (alias Manuel Enrique Cazón Arribar).
- Grew up surrounded by maternal family including writers Pedro Jorge Vera and Alfredo Vera Vera, and ballet dancer Noralma Vera Arrata.
