Legacy

Norwegian art historian who served as the first Conservator at the National Gallery of Norway from 1949 to 1973. He authored several works on Norwegian art history and lectured at the University of Oslo. Member of the Norwegian Academy of Sciences and recipient of the Order of St. Olav.
