A collected volume of previously published essays covering art, culture and social reflections; regarded as one of his major works.
As a painter, sculptor, critic and cultural organizer, he left a lasting mark on the art scene of Kerala and South India. He founded art centres and villages, practiced environment-friendly architectural design, and was recognized for his essay collection Devaspandanam. In 2019 his family instituted the M V Devan Puraskaram in his memory.
