Sankie Maimo was an English-language Cameroonian writer and playwright who also worked as an educator. His works often advocated adoption of European values as a means for African modernization and contributed to the development of Cameroonian literature. He received posthumous recognition, including the GPLA Grand prix de la mémoire.
