説明
Established in 1956 by Sir Sultan Mahommed Shah Aga Khan III, the Aga Khan Prize for Fiction was awarded by the editors of The Paris Review for what they judged to be the best short story published in the magazine in a given year. The prize was not open to applications; winners were selected by the magazine's editors. The monetary award was US$1,000. The last prize was given in 2004. Many winners are highly regarded authors who often had or later received other major literary honors.
