Description
Established in 1991. Awarded to "nationally acclaimed" authors who have made outstanding contributions in the field of literature for children and young adults. Winners receive a US$7,500 cash prize and an engraved crystal book. Supported and operated by Tulsa Library Trust (Tulsa City-County Library). Typically awarded annually, but may not be awarded in some years (e.g., no award in 1995).
