Description
The Hans Fallada Prize is a German literary prize sponsored by the city of Neumünster. Since its establishment in 1981, it has usually been awarded biennially to young writers from the German-speaking world. The prize is named after the writer Hans Fallada, and recipients are awarded both honor and prize money (10,000 euros). The selection of recipients is conducted by a selection committee appointed by the organizer. Past winners include Erich Loest, Günter Grass, Lukas Bärfuss, and others.
