Description
The KONS International Literary Award is an international prize honoring poets and writers who write socially transformative literature and have dedicated their lives to social justice. Established in 2011 through the personal initiative of three Slovenian poets (Taja Kramberger, Tatjana Jamnik, Barbara Korun), who are co-owners and permanent judges. Advisory and support members span multiple countries; awards are decided irregularly at the judges' discretion, with ceremonies held in conjunction with literary events worldwide.
