Description

The Prix Tour-Apollo was a French annual jury award established in 1972 by Jacques Sadoul with the collaboration of Jacques Goimard. The name is inspired by Apollo 11. It was awarded to the best SF novel among those published in France the previous year, and many winning works were French translations of titles originally published in English-speaking countries. The award was presented from 1972 to 1990, and from 1991 onward, the foreign novel category of the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire succeeded this field.
